Capernaum Lodge Policies
• Capernaum Lodge grounds and facilities are tobacco & alcohol-free.

• We’re a Christian Bed and Breakfast serving the heart of Central Florida with vintage lodging, continental breakfast, in an elegant setting. Our guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the mission and beliefs of our parent organization Capernaum Ministries, Inc.

Cancellation Policies
A deposit of 50% of your stay will be processed to confirm and guarantee your reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date (14 days for group bookings, holidays and special events) to cancel your reservation, less a $50 cancellation fee per room no matter what the cancellation reason is.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel less than seven (7) days prior to your arrival date (14 days for group bookings, holidays and special events), shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. We will charge you for your entire stay no matter what the cancellation reason is including inclement weather and hurricanes; however, if you cancel more than 24 hours prior to arrival, a gift certificate equal to your first night’s stay will be issued to use towards a future visit within one year. Less than 24 hours notice, 1st night will be forfeited as well as any additional nights. After checking in, Gift Certificates or Refunds are not available for shortened stays or early check-outs. We suggest travel insurance: www.insuremytrip.com.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

Government Taxes are added to your nightly rate.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Amenities included in your rate:
– On-site parking – one standard-sized vehicle parking space per guest room is included.
– Chef’s Choice Continental breakfast is served in the lobby every morning between 7:00 am – 9:00 am.
– Complimentary beverages of coffee and fruit infused water are available in the lobby.
– Downstairs outside verandas and the boat dock are for all guests to enjoy
– Flat screen TVs with cable in each guest room
– Sauna located on the second floor

Other Details:
All guest rooms accommodate 2 adults with one King bed or two twins. Suites have a pull out single or double sofa beds. We have one 2 bedroom suite with sofa beds that will accommodate 6 guests.

We are a family friendly facility. While we are a family friendly bed and breakfast, we ask that guests with small children use additional care with regards to behavior, you are a guest in our lodge that is like a private home. We welcome bookings by guests 21 years old and up.

We are unable to accept pets with the exception of service dogs.

NON-SMOKING PROPERTIES: All of our properties are completely non-smoking, both indoors, and on any of our properties outdoors as well. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, hookahs, and the like. Minimum $200 cleaning and loss of use fee will be charged if we find you have been smoking in or on the properties. Anyone observed with tobacco may be asked to leave the property.

NON-ALCOHOL PROPERTY: All of our properties are completely non-alcohol, both indoors, and on any of our properties outdoors as well. This includes beer, wine, hard liquor. Minimum $200 fee will be charged if we find you have been drinking in or on the properties. Anyone observed with alcohol may be asked to leave the property. Alcohol found in the room by housekeeping will be subject to $200 fee.

Registration times: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mon-Fri.. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to arrive early in the day, secure your on-site parking and come into the inn to register. Rooms are not guaranteed available until 3:00 PM. We are happy to check you in early if the room is available.

If arriving after 5:00 PM, please call 863-221-0877 to make after-hours lock box check-in arrangements. Lockboxes are only issued upon availability and advanced notice.

**On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day check-ins may only be accommodated up to 11:00 am. Lockboxes are not available on these dates.**

Front desk hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday-Friday, 1 pm-8 pm Saturday & 10 am-3 pm Sunday.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

  • A 50 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase
  • Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase

CHILDREN & PETS

  • Children are welcome with an accompanying adult
  • Pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome.

Capernaum Lodge grounds and facilities are tobacco & alcohol free. NON-SMOKING PROPERTIES: All of our properties are completely non-smoking, both indoors, and on any of our properties outdoors as well. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, hookahs, and the like. Minimum $200 cleaning and loss of use fee will be charged if we find you have been smoking or drinking in or on the properties. You may also be asked to leave.

Our property uses ResNexus to provide online reservation services.

Privacy

ResNexus respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. Your personal information is collected and stored to facilitate online reservations with our property. Basic information concerning your visit to this site is used by ResNexus to improve its service. Reservation Nexus never sells or shares your personal information without your permission.

Security

ResNexus uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal and payment information during and after your reservation. After your reservation is complete, the system removes your credit card information to prevent theft or disclosure. ResNexus meets or exceeds rigorous industry standards for protecting credit card information and is PCI compliant. This PCI compliance has been verified by an external auditor.
