Seminar Overview

Each year we look forward to hosting or sponsoring a number of relevant and timely Seminars and Training Programs. They are all taught and facilitated by experts in the various fields.

Seminars and Teachings:

Pastor’s Discovery Laboratory Luncheons –three to four times per year, Senior Pastors gather for a deeper understanding of God’s purpose for the body of Christ through authentic conversation and the effective building of relationships.

Body Life Ministry – An intense eight week training, using a manual as a guide to learn how to effectively minister to the body of Christ, bringing healing and restoration to hurts and pains of emotional, spiritual, and physical damage.

Marriage Seminars – Designed for Pastors and Leaders. These seminars will not only enhance your own marriage, but will enable you to minister more effectively to your people. You will take home valuable tools and materials that will enhance your ability to relate to the problems that permeate our culture in marriages today.

Leadership Retreats – Separate and distinct retreats for Pastors and Leaders in the church, Worship Leaders, Youth Leaders, each designed to accomplish the goals of building, edifying and encouraging one another in the Word of God to fulfill the role that the Lord has called you to.

Family Restoration Seminar – Modeling, teaching, and imparting for troubled families, bringing restoration to the family unit.

Men’s Ministry Training – Teaching men their responsibilities regarding family,finances, work ethic, and character.

Discipleship Training – Training young people in the process of dealing with life issues.

Pastoral Training – Training Pastors in the area of effectively dealing with conflict resolution and integrity of relationships.

Wounded Heart – An in-depth study and intervention to bring inner healing to abused
women.

The Gathering – A weekly fellowship and sharing God’s Word in the fashion of the 1st Century Church, meeting Sundays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM

The Question – Searching God’s Purpose – an eight chapter survey of the more than 230 questions asked by Jesus and how they apply to life’s development process.

In the Community

Businessmen’s Breakfast – Meets every Friday morning at 7:00 am. Reaching the Business Person – Motivating successful people in the business community to encourage positive leadership for ministry within their influence, and teaching proven leaders how they can make a positive impact on their communities. Please call for more information.

Women of Prayer – Women who have an intercessors heart to pray for the body of Christ and for their neighborhoods. We meet the last Saturday of each month.

Community Service Days – various churches coming together to go into the community to clean, paint, repair, etc. in places such as schools, and community buildings.

Lake Wales Revival – Join us October 25 through 28, 2012 for our 3rd annual inter-denominational, inter-cultural Tent Revival, offering an array of Spiritual messages, worship, & prayer led nightly by Pastors from our community. Meet us at the big tent in Lake Wailes park.

Pioneer Days – October 27 and 28 in Lake Wailes Park. Capernaum has a booth with organic vegetables, and other information pertinent to the Ministry and the Inn.

National Day of Prayer ∙ The First Thursday In May– an open invitation to the citizens of Lake Wales to gather on the steps of City Hall to pray for our city, county, state, and our country, and to lift up to God the people in charge of all these – Pastors, Government Officials, Police & Fire Departments, etc.
